Hud · Ayah 8 of 123
وَلَىِٕنْ اَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ اِلٰٓى اُمَّةٍ مَّعْدُوْدَةٍ لَّيَقُوْلُنَّ مَا يَحْبِسُهٗ ۭ اَلَا يَوْمَ يَاْتِيْهِمْ لَيْسَ مَصْرُوْفًا عَنْهُمْ وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ۧ
And if We postpone the punishment upon them for a specified time, they will surely say, “What holds it back?” Pay heed! On the day when it comes upon them, it will not be averted from them, and the very punishment they mocked at will encompass them.
اور اگر ہم ان سے عذاب کچھ گنتی کی مدت تک ہٹادیں تو ضرور کہیں گے کس چیز نے روکا ہے سن لو جس دن ان پر آئے گا ان سے پھیرا نہ جائے گا، اور انہیں گھیرے گا وہی عذاب جس کی ہنسی اڑاتے تھے
