Al-Baqarah · Ayah 66 of 286
فَجَــعَلْنٰھَا نَكَالًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ
So We made this incident (of that town) a warning to the surrounding towns (others of their time) and to succeeding generations, and a lesson for the pious.
تو ہم نے (اس بستی کا) یہ واقعہ اس کے آگے اور پیچھے والوں کے لیے عبرت کردیا اور پرہیزگاروں کے لیے نصیحت-
