Fussilat · Ayah 17 of 54
وَاَمَّا ثَمُوْدُ فَهَدَيْنٰهُمْ فَاسْتَــحَبُّوا الْعَمٰى عَلَي الْهُدٰى فَاَخَذَتْهُمْ صٰعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُوْنِ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ
And regarding the Thamud, We showed them the right path – so they chose to be blind above being guided, therefore the thunderbolt of the disgraceful punishment overcame them – the recompense of their deeds.
اور رہے ثمود انہیں ہم نے راہ دکھائی تو انہوں نے سوجھنے پر اندھے ہونے کو پسند کیا تو انہیں ذلت کے عذاب کی کڑ ک نے آ لیا سزا ان کے کیے کی
