Al-Ma'idah · Ayah 49 of 120
وَاَنِ احْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ اَهْوَاۗءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ اَنْ يَّفْتِنُوْكَ عَنْۢ بَعْضِ مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ اِلَيْكَ ۭ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمْ اَنَّمَا يُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ اَنْ يُّصِيْبَهُمْ بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوْبِهِمْ ۭ وَاِنَّ كَثِيْرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ لَفٰسِقُوْنَ
And therefore, O Muslims, judge between them according to what is sent down by Allah, and do not follow their desires, and be cautious of them so that they may not divert you from some commands which have been sent down to you; then if they turn away, know that Allah’s will is to punish them for some of their sins; and indeed many men are disobedient.
اور یہ کہ اے مسلمان! اللہ کے اتارے پر حکم کر اور ان کی خواہشوں پر نہ چل اور ان سے بچتا رہ کہ کہیں تجھے لغزش نہ دے دیں کسی حکم میں جو تیری طرف اترا پھر اگر وہ منہ پھیریں تو جان لو کہ اللہ ان کے بعض گناہوں کی سزا ان کو پہنچایا چاہتا ہے اور بیشک بہت آدمی بے حکم ہیں،
