Al-Ma'idah · Ayah 70 of 120
لَقَدْ اَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَ بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۗءِيْلَ وَاَرْسَلْنَآ اِلَيْهِمْ رُسُلًا ۭكُلَّمَا جَاۗءَهُمْ رَسُوْلٌۢ بِمَا لَا تَهْوٰٓى اَنْفُسُهُمْ ۙ فَرِيْقًا كَذَّبُوْا وَفَرِيْقًا يَّقْتُلُوْنَ
We made a covenant with the Descendants of Israel and sent Noble Messengers towards them; whenever a Noble Messenger came to them with whatever was not according to their own desires, they denied some of them and some they slew.
بیشک ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد لیا اور ان کی طرف رسول بھیجے، جب کبھی ان کے پاس کوئی رسول وہ بات لے کر آیا جو ان کے نفس کی خواہش نہ تھی ایک گروہ کو جھٹلایا اور ایک گروہ کو شہید کرتے ہیں
