Allah, the Most Gracious

رحمٰن

Has taught the Qur’an to His beloved Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him).

نے اپنے محبوب کو قرآن سکھایا

Has created Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) as the soul of mankind.

انسانیت کی جان محمد کو پیدا کیا،

Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future.

ما کان وما یکون کا بیان انہیں سکھایا

The sun and the moon are scheduled.

سورج اور چاند حساب سے ہیں

And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him).

اور سبزے اور پیڑ سجدہ کرتے ہیں

And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance.

اور آسمان کو اللہ نے بلند کیا اور ترازو رکھی

In order that you may not corrupt the balance.

کہ ترازو میں بے اعتدالی نہ کرو

And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight.

اور انصاف کے ساتھ تول قائم کرو اور وزن نہ گھٹاؤ،

And He appointed the earth for the creatures.

اور زمین رکھی مخلوق کے لیے

In which are fruits, and covered dates.

اس میں میوے اور غلاف والی کھجوریں

And grain covered with husk, and fragrant flowers.

اور بھُس کے ساتھ اناج اور خوشبو کے پھول،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اے جن و انس! تم دونوں اپنے رب کی کون سی نعمت کو جھٹلاؤ گے

He created man from clay like that of earthenware.

اس نے آدمی کو بنا یا بجتی مٹی سے جیسے ٹھیکری

And created jinn from the flame of fire.

اور جن کو پیدا فرمایا آگ کے لُوکے (لپیٹ) سے

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو تم دونوں اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Lord of both the Easts, and Lord of both the Wests!

دونوں پورب کا رب اور دونوں پچھم کا رب

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو تم دونوں اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet.

اس نے دو سمندر بہائے کہ دیکھنے میں معلوم ہوں ملے ہوئے

Whereas there is a barrier between them so they cannot encroach upon one another.

اور ہے ان میں روک کہ ایک دوسرے پر بڑھ نہیں سکتا

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Pearls and coral-stone come forth from them.

ان میں سے موتی اور مونگا نکلتا ہے،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills.

اور اسی کی ہیں وہ چلنے والیاں کہ دریا میں اٹھی ہوئی ہیں جیسے پہاڑ

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

For everything on the earth is extinction.

زمین پر جتنے ہیں سب کو فنا ہے

And everlasting is the Entity of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable.

اور باقی ہے تمہارے رب کی ذات عظمت اور بزرگی والا

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

All those who are in the heavens and the earth seek only from Him; every day is an enterprise for Him.

اسی کے منگتا ہیں جتنے آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہیں اسے ہر دن ایک کام ہے

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Disposing all works quickly We tend towards your account, O you two large groups!

جلد سب کام نبٹا کر ہم تمہارے حساب کا قصد فرماتے ہیں اے دونوں بھاری گروہ

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

O the groups of jinns and men, if you can cross the boundaries of the heavens and the earth, then cross them; wherever you may go, His is the kingdom!

اے جن و انسان کے گروہ اگر تم سے ہوسکے کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کے کناروں سے نکل جاؤ تو نکل جاؤ، جہاں نکل کر جاؤ گے اسی کی سلطنت ہے

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Flames of smokeless fire and black smoke without flames, will be let loose on you, so you will not be able to retaliate.

تم پر چھوڑی جائے گی بے دھویں کی آگ کی لپٹ اور بے لپٹ کا کالا دھواں تو پھر بدلا نہ لے سکو گے

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

And when the heaven will split, it will appear like a rose painted red.

پھر جب آسمان پھٹ ائے گا تو گلاب کے پھول کا سا ہوجائے گا جیسے سرخ نری (بکرے کی رنگی ہوئی کھال)

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

On that day no sinner will be questioned about his sins, from men or from jinns.

تو اس دن گنہگار کے گناہ کی پوچھ نہ ہوگی کسی آدمی اور جِن سے

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

The criminals will be recognised from their faces, so will be caught by their forelocks and feet, and thrown into hell.

مجرم اپنے چہرے سے پہچانے جائیں گے تو ماتھا اور پاؤں پکڑ کر جہنم میں ڈالے جائیں گے

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے

This is hell, which the criminals deny.

یہ ہے وہ جہنم جسے مجرم جھٹلاتے ہیں،

They shall keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water.

پھیرے کریں گے اس میں اور انتہا کے جلتے کھولتے پانی میں

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens.

اور جو اپنے رب کے حضور کھڑے ہونے سے ڈرے اس کے لیے دو جنتیں ہیں

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Having numerous branches.

بہت سی ڈالوں والیاں

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

In the two Gardens flow two springs.

ان میں دو چشمے بہتے ہیں

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties.

ان میں ہر میوہ دو دو قسم کا،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under.

اور ایسے بچھونوں پر تکیہ لگائے جن کا اَستر قناویز کا اور دونوں کے میوے اتنے جھکے ہوئے کہ نیچے سے چن لو

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn.

ان بچھونوں پر وہ عورتیں ہیں کہ شوہر کے سوا کسی کو آنکھ اٹھا کر نہیں دیکھتیں ان سے پہلے انہیں نہ چھوا کسی آدمی اور نہ جِن نے،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

They are like rubies and coral-stone.

گویا وہ لعل اور یاقوت اور مونگا ہیں

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)?

نیکی کا بدلہ کیا ہے مگر نیکی

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

And besides them, there are two more Gardens.

اور ان کے سوا دو جنتیں اور ہیں

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark.

نہایت سبزی سے سیاہی کی جھلک دے رہی ہیں،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance.

ان میں دو چشمے ہیں چھلکتے ہوئے،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate.

ان میں میوے اور کھجوریں اور انار ہیں،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces.

ان میں عورتیں ہیں عادت کی نیک صورت کی اچھی

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions.

حوریں ہیں خیموں میں پردہ نشین

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Untouched by any man or jinn, before them.

ان سے پہلے انہیں ہاتھ نہ لگایا کسی آدمی اور نہ کسی جِن نے،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets.

تکیہ لگائے ہوئے سبز بچھونوں اور منقش خوبصورت چاندنیوں پر،

So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

تو اپنے رب کی کونسی نعمت جھٹلاؤ گے،

Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable.

بڑی برکت والا ہے تمہارے رب کا نام جو عظمت اور بزرگی والا،
